Don't feel bad, Julia. One of my son's dads is a sex-advice columnist and the HICBIA and I still managed to screw up the sex talk—particularly the whole sex-for-pleasure part, a.k.a. the only kind of sex that gay people ever have, the kind of sex that straight people have 99.99% of the time.
