What's more obnoxious than leaving a few pennies on the restaurant table as a tip to make a point? Try writing in a tip of two cents on your credit-card slip, then leaving a passive-aggressive note with a smiley face.

A customer left this tip after brunch at an unnamed Chicago restaurant, and the waitress who received it was angry enough to submit it to a local dining blog. "A smiley face will never negate the fact that you're a douchebag," the waitress wrote in her e-mail to the blogger. No, it won't. It makes the customer even more obnoxious.
